Inspired by its bright emerald hues, Kermit the Frog Leptastrea is a visually striking variant of Leptastrea sp. The frag you receive is typically around ¾-inch in size.

Light & Flow

• Prefers low to moderate lighting (about 50–100 PAR), but can adapt gradually if stronger lights are needed.

• Thrives in moderate water flow—enough to clear debris without stressing the polyps.

Placement

• Ideal for lower or middle areas of the tank, where it can encrust and spread across rock surfaces nicely.

Feeding & Nutrition

• Gets most nutrients via symbiotic zooxanthellae, but enjoys targeted feedings—like phytoplankton or meaty coral foods—for enhanced growth and health.

Water Chemistry & Stability

• Maintain stable calcium levels (~400–450 ppm) along with alkalinity, magnesium, and other trace elements for healthy skeletal growth.

Behavior & Compatibility

• While not overly aggressive, Leptastrea can use sweeper tentacles—ensure enough spacing to prevent harm to neighboring corals.
